Description

So... I'd like you to meet Veer. (He was given to me by incorporealboy a few months ago and I don't know if anyone will recognize his name or remember his original design, but ehfhg.) I'm gonna... make this overly complicated. I spent like, an hour on this desc, love me.

"With this rampant chaos, your reality"

Basics|

Name| Veer Domiko Kruse [Kruse is merely a placeholder for his actual last name, he's found it's safer not to use it.]
Gender| Male
Age| 16 years old
D.O.B| February 13th
Starsign| Pisces
Sexuality/Romantic Orientation| Asexual/Panromantic
Species| Sorcerer. [Two-type - Two-types are a specific type of sorcerer whom can only do, as the name implied two types of magic.]
Aura Color(s)| Red + Aquamarine, the colors of his eyes.

Personality| Veer is a relatively happy person, for all he's been through. The timeline he's from had been engaged in conflict for many years, and said conflict inflicted many casualties. Veer tries not to be sad about it, but he can't help but miss his home, and original family. Though, he's quickly grown to love his current one very much, may it be this timeline's versions of people he once knew or Jordan, Chiro, F0cus, Arr0w and the Lacroix siblings. Veer is usually quiet and keeps to himself, though he cannot stand to be alone for very long. He's quite touchy-feely with those he's closer to, the kid is definitely a cuddler, and he loves being hugged. He's generally just quite sweet, and is typically summarized as such. He's not likely to be reckless, though he can come close to it at times. It appears certain aspects of his personality are well-balanced compared to his parents.
Notes| - Veer's two magic types are defensive (the ability to form shields, bubbles, walls, etc - red) and offensive (attacking, can be present in energy bolts, or what may look like fireballs - aquamarine).
- Veer keeps a journal and small envelope full of pictures from his timeline, it's what keeps him from breaking down sometimes.
- His magic can still be unpredictable. Encourage it's use with due caution.

Begin|

Veer was raised in a timeline that paralleled this one [I refer to Yevtoa and subsequently, Another Twist] to a T, except when it suddenly hit a conflict, which started off as small but quickly escalated. It was not the ideal place for any child, but Veer, being the youngest of five half-siblings, grew up just about as well as any normal child would. He relied upon his siblings for guidance typically, as well as a person he considered an aunt. Veer was only raised by one of his parents for the most part, also growing close to the parent of many of his half-siblings. He was very close to his family for the majority of his life.

However, a few months after he turned fifteen, this changed drastically. Despite not being close to his other parent himself, all of his family remained on one side of the conflict, and it was to this which his absent parent lost his life. This brought one of his half-siblings, the oldest of the five, to live with them. And... it was this specific sibling of his who led to the activation of his aura.

Being descended from a sorcerer meant Veer had a chance of being able to activate his aura, something that had not happened with any of his other siblings for whatever reason. But Veer was lucky - his sibling who had scared him, not so much. Veer's aura activated out of fear - Veer dislikes loud noises and being surprised - especially when said surprise involves being tackled. Simply responding to his terror, one part of his aura activated and created a shield of sorts, translucent red in color. ... His poor sibling, and the poor table. Veer, now startled with himself continuously apologized until he was told to shut up.

Veer wasn't given long to learn how to control this power - or the other one he had, for that matter. The conflict only got worse, and that brought a conclusion. Something had to be done, or they would all die. Veer was originally supposed to be joined by one of his half-siblings, but only he had arrived in the time frame. Once he learned why he was there, and what would be happening next, he did not want to leave.

... But he went, kicking and screaming, and fruitlessly attempting to use his powers to delay what he knew would happen next. He was outmatched though, mostly from his little training and even less experience. He'd drained himself, putting far too much strain on his currently weak aura. He lost consciousness.

He had been promised something though. "You'll see me again."

Wake Up|

Veer had found himself in an unfamiliar place, yet he could swear he recognized the atmosphere. He still had to be in Yevtoa, he just knew it. Somehow though, it felt different. He found his way out of the abandoned lot he'd realized he was in, and as he began to walk, quickly knew that he was most certainly not in his time anymore.

He'd been sent back more than twenty years. But worst of all, it was still winter. He was shivering in his jacket, and started walking faster in an effort to keep warm. Overwhelmed with his thoughts, and trying to figure out where he even was, he ran into something. Or rather, someone. And that someone was Dominick.

"Hey, watch it-!"

"I'm so sorry- I wasn't watching where I was going..."

"---?"

"... You know my dad?"

"... Your what now?"

"My dad! ... Oh, I know... You must be Dominick. You're a full-fledged sorcerer. You're red."

"... And, you're a two-type... Just like him. Red and aquamarine, strange... But, how old are you?"

"I'll be sixteen in February."

"Kid, what the fuck."

And with this, Veer quickly began to explain the series of events that had led to his presence here, but was stopped when he mentioned the conflict, and fighting.

"I don't know what I was like where you came from, but there's nothing like that going on here... and, your existence doesn't even seem feasible here... It's just, bizarre."

"... Well, I have been told I was an accident." Veer then proceeded to give Dominick a very awkward smile.

"KID. TOO MUCH."

The idea had been to send him back earlier in the conflict, perhaps even before it had started in order to alter the timeline. He wasn't supposed to be alone though. And he wasn't supposed to be explaining who he was to Dominick Avery, most certainly.

"Can you... just tell me where I can find him?"

"... Sure. Look for the largest building on Croistre Street. Apartment 27 should be the one you're looking for."

"Thank you. Also, it's kind of nice to see you without your hair shaved off."

"... Excuse me?"

"Gotta go! Thank you again!"

And Veer left Dominick standing in the cold, the older sorcerer wondering if he'd been hallucinating. But Veer continued on, trying to ignore the bite of the winter air on his face and hands. Eventually he reached the street Dominick had mentioned to him, and found the building... after walking up and down the street three times. His feet hurt.

Entering the building, he began to recognize some of what he began to see. This building was practically a historic site in his time. It had nearly burned down once even. Armed with this renewed knowledge, he continued to the elevator. Was this the one that played that one old singer- what's her face- oh yes, Britney Spears? He thought that was it. He gently tapped the up button, and waited.

You're Here Now, Aren't You?|

Veer eventually made his way to the apartment Dominick had given him, and knocked on the door. Veer had never really been one for waiting, and may have proceeded to tackle the one who had opened the door to the floor.

... It was only after a few minutes of awkwardly hugging them that Veer realized he hadn't explained who he was, and had probably scared the shit out of them.

"... Uh, hi. I'm your son."

"... It's always something."

"But now I'm home, right where I belong"
